Final 4 Shirt Ideas!
These slogans need to be voted on by Friday. They are not in the order of finish.
SADD isn’t a Choice, it’s a Way of Life.
Dream Dare Do.
Without Challenge there is no Achievement.
Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.

Updated Shirt Ideas
Mrs. Aston and I met about the T shirt slogans. We narrowed down the list to ones that we both liked and thought were most appropriate. They are, in no particular order:
SADD isn’t a Choice, it’s a Way of Life.
Our greatest power is the power to choose.
Be the positive change you want to see in the world.
Lead by Example- (go the extra mile.)
The Power of SADD comes from within.
Desire sees the Invisible, Feels the Intangible, and Achieves the Impossible.
Lead with Courage, Achieve through Unity.
Dream Dare Do.
It is perseverance which distinguishes the strong for the weak.
Without Challenge there is no Achievement.
Great Results Require Great Ambitions.
Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.
We may add a crayon one if we can find a good, short version.

Bullying and Cyber-Bullying
Bullying
When a person is being harassed by someone else and they feel unsafe around these people. Typically students will do worse in school and develop low self esteem and even not care about life anymore.
Bullying is a choice that can be changed. Bullying is definitely preventable.
What can be done?
1. Report a bully to your parents, teacher, counselor, principal, or school deputy.
2. Stand up for the people who are being bullied.
3. If you see someone being isolated get him or her to join your group and feel belonged.
Cyber-Bullying
This is bullying over the Internet, through texting, or any other way of electronic messaging. This can also involving inappropriate pictures.
What can be done about cyber-bullies?
1. Delete and Block bullies
2. If you read messages of people being bullied, report them to someone. Print them out and give them to someone.
3. Support those who are being bullied.
4. Report cyber-bullying to your parents, teacher, counselor, principal, or school deputy.
5. Send one message to the cyber bully stating clearly: “Do not communicate with me again or I will contact the appropriate authorities.” Save the message you have sent.
6. Contact the email or webpage provider. Chances are terms and conditions do not permit these type of messages and ask for the bully’s removal.
7. If the cyber bully’s comments are coming through text on a mobile phone, trace the number and contact the phone company.
If you don’t think the school can’t discipline you for cyber-bullying, think again!
Schools may discipline students for actions outside of class if they disrupt the educational process, said a West Virginia lawyer who represents several school boards and lectures nationally on cyber-bullying. If, for instance, a student calls in a bomb threat from outside school or threatens another student so badly that they avoid school, the school could take action.

Shirt Ideas
Here are some of the shirt ideas turned in so far. Please add your own or comment on the ones here.
“First we make our habits, then our habits make us.”
“Be the change you want to see in the world.”
“It is easy to dodge our responsibilities, but we cannot dodge the consequences of dodging our responsibilities.”
“Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more”
SADD MAKES ME SMILE
Our greatest power is the power to choose.
An impaired mind is an unprepared mind.
It is commitment, not authority, that produces results. We rise by lifting others.
Never compromise yourself. You are all you’ve got.
One reason I don’t drink is that I want to know when I am having a good time.
Destiny is not decided by fate but by decision. (We had one 2 years ago that says “Iit’s choice, not chance that determines your destiny.)
The doors we open and close each day decides the lives we live.
Decision is risk rooted for becoming free.
We have the Bill of Rights. What we need is the Bill of Responsibilities.
Destructive decisions are like full of collisions. They only hurt and make you eat dirt.
We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.
Life is about using the whole box of crayons.
With age comes responsibility, and with responsibility comes common sense.
SADD isn’t a choice, it’s a way of Life.
The first step to greatness is Believe.
Don’t use Drugs.
Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.
Live your Life but don't live it with regrets.
Just don't do it.
NEW ONES
Lead by Example- (go the extra mile.)

I am a Difference Maker!
I Make a Difference!
All it takes is all you got!
Our Mission is your submission.
We’re kind of a BIG DEAL

It is perseverance which distinguishes the strong for the weak.
